It is important to make sure you are hydrated before you even exercise. Clear is cool – your wee that is!
It may seem like a lot, but below is a guide for how much water you should be aiming for, even before you hit the gym:
- You should consume 30mls of water per kg of body weight each day
- in addition to this you need 250mls of water for every 15 mins of high intensity exercise that you do
- and also an extra 250mls for any caffeine you have (such as coffee, chocolate or cola)
So drink up the h20!
