Case Study: Janika lost 55kg and hasn’t looked back!
We are proud of so many of our members and in particular Janika Nieminen had great success last year. Here she shares her weightloss story with us…
“Without Adam, my personal trainer from Manly Beach Health Club, I wouldn’t be the person I am today: a fitter, healthier and happier person.
My whole life, I had been overweight; obese even. Despite this, I always had a passion for sport and exercise. I managed to lose a fair bit of weight by myself but still had a long way to go to achieve my goal weight. It wasn’t until I walked into Manly Health Club about a year ago and met Adam that I was able to find the strength and motivation needed to keep going all the way. I found myself training with him the next day and I have never looked back. It has been the best decision I have made for myself in a long time.
Deciding to train with Adam has changed my life completely; his support and knowledge has not only helped me lose weight but also made me a stronger, more confident person.
Before, I could never go to the gym on my own to do weights, as I was always worrying about what other people would think of me. This all changed once I started to train with him as he provided me with a “safety net” that allowed me to concentrate only on my own workout and to block out other people around me.
It definitely has not been an easy journey but it has been worth every single drop of sweat and all the tears as it has all paid off. He has not only helped me to get slimmer but he has also been a great help getting me through difficult times when I have not believed in myself.
